I was a member of Olongapo City National High School Rondalla Ensemble under SPA department. I played banduria. It’s really small for me but my teacher insisted that I must play it because I’m really a “loud” player. We competed in NAMCYA “National Music Competition of Young Artists” and we got a hold on the 3rd place. Bulacan (as always) won the Choral and Rondalla category.
Presently, Sir Mustar assigned me to make a Rondalla group in Gordon College. It is really trouble-free but we don’t have instruments. I truly hope TITO Bong Gordon would give us. We need Banduria, Octavina or Laud, Baho de Arco and drums. I wish Tito Bong would have the chance to read this. Hehhe
